Lorilae Myrsky

A botanist by trade, and an adventurer by necessity, Lorilae is an easy going Viera who has set up shop in Gridania with his partner. Both of them dabble in crafts, but Lorilae is primarily a weaver. He gets pulled from his shop to adventure every time the world is in danger again (just another Tuesday).
Backstory
Lorilae was born and raised in the Golmore Jungle, but chose to leave shortly after finishing his time under his master, and hasn’t been back since. He willingly accepted his banishment from his homeland as his curiosity of the outside world was stronger than his connection to his tribe, and this was a dangerous road to go down when the Word of the Wood was very strict. While he misses his family, they said their final goodbyes in a happy light and he hopes they’re still doing well. It’s been 41 years since he’s left and he’s grown accustomed to living life outside the jungle. Breaking again from tradition, he never was interested in starting a family in the forest, and left no wives or children behind.In the only instance of keeping with Viera traditions, Lorilae surrounds himself with plant life. He feels more at ease surrounded by nature and his house is easily half plants. He has an outdoor greenhouse and grows a variety of plants used for potions, which he sells at the market.When first leaving the jungle he found his way to Ul’dah and joined up with the adventurer’s guild. He did not have much but his experience learning to protect the woods allowed him to easily tackle the adventuring lifestyle. Around 30 years after his move to Ul’dah he met Thancred and started working with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.In between working with them, Lorilae started taking up work as a botanist and a weaver. He met his partner Rain at a market in Gridania, and the two eventually moved to Gridania, as Lorilae much preferred the forest over the desert of Ul’dah.
